I need help!!!! I dont need the answer just the step to find the answer. Which of the following statements best describes the graph of 3x – 2y = 4? It is a straight line joining the points (6, 2), (5, 1), and (7, 3). It is a straight line joining the points (0, –2), (2, 1), and (–2, –5). It is a curve joining the points (3, –2), (2, 3), and (4, 1). It is a curve joining the points (0, 2), (–2, –1), and (4, 1).

linear equation -- an algebraic equation, such as y = 2x + 7 or 3x + 2y = 4, in which the highest degree term in the variable is of the first degree. The graph of such an equation is a straight line. As far as your points...sub them into the equation and see if they satisfy the equation. Does that help ?
So for example take A. and plug the coordinates in the equation and see if they make the answer?
correct...little hint, it is either A or B.
you only need to check one of the set of points and see if it is correct....you do not have to check all of them..unless you just want to be 100% sure
Ok thank you sooo much :)
anytime :)
