Which relation is a function? (Points : 1) {(1, 2), (1, 5), (1, 1), (1, 4)} {(8, 1), (2, 1), (3, 8), (2, 5} {(3, 4), (2, 5), (0, 9), (0, 12)} {(7, 12), (1, 5), (3, 10), (2, 5)}

please help ineed this like in 10 minutes

OpenStudy (lucaz):

you only have a function if the input value gives you a unique output, if your input is 2 and the output is only 7, it's ok, but if your input is 2 and it gives two or more outputs it's not a function (just an example)

OpenStudy (lucaz):

the first relation shows that the input 1 gives you several different outputs, it's not a function

thanks!!!

OpenStudy (lucaz):

but you can have the same output for different inputs, like (2,7) and (3,7), this is ok

so D?
