does he know about this? =)

OpenStudy (nirmalnema):

yaa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oooh i hope he helps me .. omg i have so many tests today, its the last day of mathematics

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

for range u look at the graph "bottom to top" range = \(\huge \mathbb{[-3, 6)}\)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

im not sure what a "definition quantity" means, could you look in ur notes quick and see if u can find something useful ha ? :)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

I think they want you find the equation of shown graph, eh ?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Let's assume that ganeshie8 is correct in thinking that we are to find the equation corresponding to the quadratic function whose graph is given. I'd suggest using the model y=a(x-h)^2 + k, where (h,k) represents the vertex. Immediately obvious from the graph is that the vertex is at (0,-3). Therefore, after substituting these coordinates into the above model, -3=a(0)^2 + k, which tells us that k=-3. Then the model becomes y=ax^2-3. Pick any other "nice" point on the graph ("nice" meaning that the coordinates are integer). Substitute the coordinates of that point into the model, above, and find a. Then write the model as y = a(x)^2 -3.

omg thank u both so much!!!!
