Oh, come on. Don't you know what the thorax is? That's the part of the body between the head and the abdomen (your chest is your thorax). Do you know of any insects which have their eyes there, instead of on their head?
A is the correct answer. The compound eyes are very good at detection motion. They do not provide a more detailed image. They are not located on the thorax.
Thanks @whpalmer4 and no I didn't know that. I was just unsure of what that meant so chose that as my answer but I should have looked that up first!
The computer is your friend, make it do your bidding :-).
