OpenStudy (calculusxy):

@phi

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please use the Draw utility (below) to share your drawing of the 2 given points on the xy plane. You can copy my drawing and add to it.|dw:1395867521170:dw|

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

What i was thinking was to connect the lines from the vertices of (-9,7) and (4,-3).

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

|dw:1395867719497:dw|

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

will that work also?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

@agent0smith @TuringTest

OpenStudy (mathmale):

What you've done is fine. You were to plot the 2 given points. Then, you were to complete the drawing of the rectangle. All is well! sorry for the delays in responding. OpenStudy is currently being heavily used.

OpenStudy (phi):

notice the two "new points" are directly below (and directly above) the points you are given.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Thanks @mathmale I understood the jam because sometimes I am also having some hard time on getting this site to work properly.

OpenStudy (phi):

in other words, for (-9,7) and (4,-3). there will be a point directly below (-9,7). It will have the same x value of -9 its y value will be the y value of the point (4,-3). y=-3 so one of the new points is at (-9,-3)

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Can you plot that for me on the coordinate grid so i can better understand it @phi

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Or can you just explain to me wat does "two diagonally-opposite corners"? @phi
