Write the balanced equation for the decomposition of potassium chlorate. Determine how many moles of oxygen are produced for each mole of potassium chlorate that decomposes (the mole ratio). Use this mole ratio to work out how many moles of oxygen would be produced from 0700 moles of potassium chlorate. Once you find the number of moles of oxygen that would be expected, use moles to find the mass of oxygen.
