what do the human immune system produces in response to a vaccine, which later can bind to and destroy a pathogen if it invades

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First we have to know what's it basically means to introduce a vaccine to a body; introducing a vaccine to a body is basically as good as saying that you're injecting antigenic materials which may or may not be from a living organism (pathogens) So how do our immune system response to that? well first; we have to know the function for Macrophages When macrophages comes in an encounter with a pathogen it performs the process of phagocytosis; if you want to know what happens during this stage look at this picture down below; First we have to know what's it basically means to introduce a vaccine to a body; introducing a vaccine to a body is basically as good as saying that you're injecting antigenic materials which may or may not be from a living organism (pathogens) http://classes.midlandstech.edu/carterp/courses/bio225/chap16/Slide10.jpg just gimme a minute to write I will continue my explanation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The waste material that is being thrown out of the cell includes antigens. These antigens plays a very important role in the immune response. They are presented to one of the lymphocytes called the B lymphocytes; when the B lymphocytes comes in contact with one of the antigens that was given out by the macrophages, the antibody receptor (which is specific with it's antigen) binds together with the antigen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

these antigen has different functionality example like agglutination; opsonins; Lysins

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks lot of info

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with my other question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Glad to help you sir :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh um I can try? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

go ahead

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Neurotransmitter carry nerves impulses across?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think they are mostly synapse between neurons cells

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oops I think I made a mistake with a part of my answer Remember the part I was talking about functionality? it's not for AntiGENS it's AntiBODY that has those functionality lol my bad! ^.^''
