ok any ideas? Which statement about a compound direct object is true? A)It must include two or more adjectives. B)It consists of two or more direct objects following the same action verb. C)It consists of two or more nouns following a linking verb. D) It must be placed before the verb in the sentence.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe genitive case is possessive, and I have not gone over that in my german class yet so I cannot help much.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nevermind, I believe that compound directo object would be like doghouse, or baseball, if that helps.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So sorry, I am getting off here before I mess you up any further. A sentence with a compound direct object would be, "I ate soup and crackers for dinner." I = subject. ate = ACTION verb. soup and crackers = direct object. for dinner = prepositional phrase. So the answer would be B
