5 + 6 x log2x = 14

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well subtract 5 from both sides of the equation and then divide both sides by 6 then you'll have \[\log_{2}(x) = \frac{3}{2}\] then raise each side of the equation as powers of 2 \[2^{\log_{2}x} = 2^{\frac{3}{2}}\] so \[x = 2^{\frac{3}{2}}\] hope it helps
