1. Geneva is creating a list of occupations that interest her. She should include in her list: (1 point) only one career. only careers recommended by other people. only careers suggested in the results of online tests. several careers discovered in a variety of ways. 2. The major sources of information on possible occupations for you include: (1 point) yourself. other people. print and electronic media. all of these.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have any guesses as to the answers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1a 2a @bek_love

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay lets start with #1. Normally a list contains more than one item. if it is a list of jobs that interest her she could have learned of them from many different places. I have personally become interested in different jobs from people telling me about them and reading about them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did that help at all for question 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.d @bek_love

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly. does what I said change your answer for #2 also?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2.all of these @bek_love

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When you are making a list of careers that interest you, you should always: evaluate each option right away, to keep your list manageable. note the source of your information, in case you need to find out more. keep your notes brief, including only the job title, to allow time to list lots of jobs. do all of these.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bek_love is this d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the answers are all kind of contradictory a little bit. A says decide right away. B says get a bit of information in case you want more later. C says only get the name so you can get lots.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so a is the answer @bek_love

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets say you're at a job fare. there are a ton of different booths with all kinds of different job opportunities. you have a notebook to right information in on all of the jobs that look interesting. you are going to want to do your research on the jobs later. you don't know enough about each job to make a snap decision.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry about the awful spelling!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c @bek_love

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would personally choose B. they aren't asking you to make the list in 5 min (I think) so you have time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are these question from?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

career exploration @bek_love

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did what I've given you help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't know yet i have one more question that i am lost on @bek_love

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A job meter is a way for: companies to compare people who apply for jobs. employers to supervise workers when managers cannot see them. you to evaluate your continued interest in a potential career. you to calculate the amount of money you will need to earn.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did it help with the question you've already posted??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes @bek_love

OpenStudy (anonymous):

" A job meter is something for you to evaluate your continued interest in a potential career." (wiki answers)
