What is your question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one is coefficients & owhich one is subscrpts

OpenStudy (aaronq):

\(\color{red}4~Fe + \color{red}3~O_2 \rightarrow \color{red}2~Fe_2O_2\) the coefficients are highlighted in red. just so you know, coefficients are always at the front of the chemical formula.

thank youu

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know which one is subscript?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

the subscripts are the little numbers at the bottom, like \(\large O_{\color{red}2}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks (:

OpenStudy (aaronq):

you're welcome !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

___h2 + ___o2 > h2o do you know how to balance that ?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

you first have to know that you cannot change the subscripts (because you would change the compound, and thats not what you want), you can only change the coefficients. I do now how to balance it, but you should try it yourself because it's a basic step for other chemistry related question (you will effectively have to do if you're taking chemistry). use a calculator if you need to
