OpenStudy (lucaz):

how do I solve this? (I know how to add vectors, find magnitude, but I don't get what I have to do here)

OpenStudy (lucaz):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract v1 from v2 to find v current.

OpenStudy (lucaz):

I was trying to do that, this is the only way to find the current?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes and no. It is the only way to find it, but there's like 3 different ways to do that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can do it graphically (by drawing), you could use Pythagorean theorem, or you could use algebra (vectors/matrix).

OpenStudy (lucaz):

I used pythagorean theorem.. and the vector v1=0i+8j ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, i believe so

OpenStudy (lucaz):

ok, I will try again, thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just give me a call when you need more help with it. Vectors can be a little tricky, but once you master them they can be of great use.

OpenStudy (lucaz):

alright, thanks!
