Can someone explain the steps to this problem in detail? File attached.

@ParthKohli

Parth (parthkohli):

Do you know how to factorize the denominators?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't even know where to start in this problem :/

@anonymous_user

@cleats

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to factor the denominators and then get them into a common base. usually that means multiplying by another thing like (x-1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I honestly have no understanding of rational operations. If you were to describe to me how to solve the problem I still wouldn't be able to understand. Can you solve it for me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not unless you were my girlfriend

OpenStudy (anonymous):

start by factoring the denominators please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like I just said, I don't know how to do that. I'm closing the question. This website has proved to be nothing but a place filled with really rude, sarcastic people who do nothing but chat to each other and ignore people with legitimate questions. I'm so frustrated at this point because this is a matter of me passing or failing high school and all of you jerks think that it's some hilarious joke. Goodbye.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jesus christ, stop whining. I've had questions not answered for hours and days. We don't cater to you. This is OUR LEISURE TIME. Explain to me why you can't factor x^2-4x+4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not whining, I'm complaining for a very legitimate reason. I've not talked to one person on here yet who is actually willing to just answer a question without saying rude things and suggesting that I'm some idiot. I'm deleting my account off this stupid, useless website and all of you can just shove it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then what kind of help are you to me? None.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't thank you enough for answering when no on else would.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ankitshaw Can you post that answer again? I think it accidentally got deleted!

OpenStudy (ankitshaw):

|dw:1397500217370:dw| see u first need to factorize the denomenator... and get them in a common base and solve it its easy if u understand the basic of factorization

@grungeandcake33 Please be prepared to participate in solving your problems along with those trying to help you, not simply getting answers. Failure to do this will result in your suspension. We don't run a free answering service here.
