OpenStudy (paki):

question....?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.how does an equation differ from an expression? 2. what must it contain? 3. what is the correct way to write an equation?

OpenStudy (paki):

part 1 : There are a few things that make the difference between an equation and an expression. An equation could be presented as a complete sentence and has a solution. An example of an equation would be: 15 + x = 20. An expression is more like a phrase and cannot be solved. An example of a phrase would be 7 - x.

OpenStudy (paki):

part 2 : An equation is a mathematical statement that two things are equal. It consists of two expressions, one on each side of an 'equals' sign. For example: 12x= 7+5 etc... This equation states that 12x is equal to the sum of 7 and 5, which is obviously true. In an equation, the left side is always equal to the right side.

OpenStudy (paki):

part 2 : see the second part, you will got it...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats way too long, can you put it in a sentence?

OpenStudy (paki):

:-) dear just read one time... you will get all... @Monster1234
