You might want to try graphing 212 degrees 40 minutes. In which quadrant do you find this angle? Once you've drawn a ray from the origin representing this angle, draw in the "opposite side" and the "adjacent side." Which acute angle, either positive or negative, between the x-axis and your ray, has the same sine as does 212 degrees 40 minutes?
