OpenStudy (theeric):

Oh! Multiplication is commutative, and associative. So you can ignore the parenthesis (associative property). And you can move them around (commutative property). So get the 10's together, and multiply the other numbers like normal. Try that as a first step.

oh okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (theeric):

What did you get from what I suggested? \(6.4\times10^4\times10^{-2}\)? I think you should. Check that out.

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

6.4 x 10^2

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

in standard form it is 640
