HELP NOW PLEASE!!! A system of linear equations has a graph of 2 parallel lines. Part 1: Are the slopes the same or different? Part 2: Are the x and y intercepts the same or different? Part 3: How many solutions would this system of equations have?

OpenStudy (ria23):

If the two lines are intersecting, then yhu know that the slopes are different.

OpenStudy (ria23):

The x and y intercepts are only the same if the lines are the same (on top of each other) so no, if they are intersecting at one point the intercepts must be different.

OpenStudy (ria23):

If the two lines are intersecting at one point, that point is the only solution.

OpenStudy (ria23):

I hope that helped yhu.
