OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

it is g minor because thats whats parallel to bflat major but seriously you would get a lot better help if you click find more subjects at the top of the page and went to the music category. just sayin.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried to put it in the Music, but there's hardly anybody there.. if you could help me with more, it would be greatly appreciated!! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the difference is always 3 semitones

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the parallel minor of D Major?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is a semitone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to get minor key go down 3 semietones to get major key go up 3 semitones

OpenStudy (anonymous):

semitones = half note (from one key (on a piano) to the very next adjacent key)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm I kinda remember learning that.. Do you understand the question I last put?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sourwing ? Please, I need to get this test done, my teacher is doing a lesson on it monday so I'll get it by then, but for now, please help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

parallel minor of D Major is D minor. You just need to flatten 3rd, sixth, and 7th

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay I see how that would work.. Which minor scale has a raised seventh scale degree when ascending and descending?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sourwing ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll give medals and fan you.. plus if you help me with this test, I'll create several question posts and give you all of those medals too :) Please!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sourwing @johnweldon1993 @lovelyharmonics please help with a few problems

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
