\(x = r \cos \theta \) \(y = r \sin \theta \)
But how would you solve that? like im confused how to set it up
In your case, r = -2 \(\theta = 150^o\)
Just plug in r and theta in each equation and find x and y. BTW, I converted \( \dfrac{5 \pi}{6} \) to \( 150^o\). You can use either unit of radians or degrees.
So it would be (1.73, -1)?? using degrees.. And How did you convert 5pi/6?
You are correct.
To convert from radians to degrees, I'll give you a formula soon, but first I'll explain it to you so you'll be able to remember it.

Here is the famous unit circle. It has a radius of 1, hence the name "unit" circle.
The angle unit "radian" is the angle measure necessary to correspond to a section of the circle the same length as the radius of the circle.
