Express the complex number in trigonometric form. 3 - 3i
@hartnn
use the same formula here x= 3 y= -3
3sqrt2?
yes
okay so then tan^-1(-3) would be negative so 180?
use calculator or google to calculate that
and its tan^-1 (y/x) = tan^-1 (-3/3) = tan^-1 (-1)
=-71 so it would sitll be 180
jk -45
we use 0,180 or 360, only when the angle is 0
.-. i hate calculus
yep, -45 or +135 so whats the trigonometric form ?
idk.... google seems to hate me at the moment and is only giving me pictures of a whiteboard with a man standing in front of it who looks like hes constipated soooooo yeah c:
seriously though.....
lol put it in the form \(\large r (\cos \theta +i\sin \theta )\)
o.o yeah.... not happening
\(3 \sqrt 2 (\cos 135 +i\sin 135)\) thats it!
wrong .-. its not an answer and i found an even better picture....
3 - 3i three times the quantity cosine of five pi divided by four plus i times sine of five pi divided by four three square root two times the quantity cosine of seven pi divided by four plus i times sine of seven pi divided by four three times the quantity cosine of seven pi divided by four plus i times sine of seven pi divided by four three square root two times the quantity cosine of five pi divided by four plus i times sine of five pi divided by four
oh, so we halready have 3 sqrt 2 they just need the angle in radians
