I am no expert on this part of English grammar, so I have to do some research; According to what I am looking up, https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/596/01/ I don't believe the appositive phrase starts with "which", while option A looks accurate to what I found as examples on the page. Hope that helps!

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

Hang on. "In some cases, an appositive might be thought of as a simplified adjective clause (a word group beginning with who or which). This next sentence, for example, relies on an adjective clause to identify the subject, hangman:" http://grammar.about.com/od/grammarfaq/f/faqappositive.htm Yeah, this subject really throws me for a loop... Really sorry. >.>;

OpenStudy (anonymous):

looking at it again a does look correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about this one i know it's b or c

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

"for 35 years" seems to modify the implication of the verb teaching -- adverb while "of Mr. Bruns's former students' is clarifying "several"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be b?

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

That is what I am thinking. Although, again, I am not well-versed in the subject to be certain. You'll have to weight that information for yourself as well. I need to be heading off to bed (3 am). lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha goodnight thank's for the help :)
