Can you help me?

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Hmmm......What's the question?

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

@tHe_FiZiCx99 gave you a diagram to try and help. maybe try it on your own first then we can help you more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have tried for hours… I just don't understand… I'm sorry…

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

Ok well then first let's choose what part of speech each word is in each sentence. Let's start with the first one: The Campers enjoy canoeing through Algonquin Park. The(article) Campers(subject) enjoy(verb) canoeing(direct object) through(preposition) Algonquin Park(object of preposition). So using this, maybe try to do it now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you :) |dw:1398110519483:dw| like that?

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

Looks good to me :) Do you need help finding the parts of speech for the other 2 sentences?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes please :)

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

2. Jean(subject) wanted(verb) to(preposition) invite(object of preposition) us(direct object) over(preposition) for(preposition) lunch(object of preposition). *I guess you would put 'over for' together, but I'm not 100% sure* 3. Meeting(noun) him(pronoun) for(preposition) the(article) first(adjective) time(object of preposition), Charlie(subject) was(verb) slightly(adverb) nervous(direct object). *I have no idea what to do with the 'Meeting him' part so let me research it while you do the rest*

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

This is what I believe you would do for part of the third one: |dw:1398111596593:dw|
