@Luigi0210 @sammixboo @Hero @beccaboo333

sammixboo (sammixboo):

I don't know... ;~; Sorry

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

:c i dont know anyone else who would cuz ive asked everyone on my lil list ._.

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Plug in the numbers, for n, you already have a.

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

so 4*-6^2-1? so that would be -24 right

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

is that \(\large a_{1}=-6\)?

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

yes c:

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

If I'm right, than all you have to do is plug what we know into the next.. so we have \(\large a_{1}=-6\) and the formula \(\large a_{n}=4*a^{n-1}\).. we have the first term, -6. Now to find the find the second term.. \(\large a_{2}=4*a^{2-1}\).. simplified gives us \(\large a_{2}=4*a^1\) and we know that \(\large a_{1}=-6\) so.. \(\large a_{2}=4*(-6)\). And so on.

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

ohhh okay c: yeah i always manage to forget that .-.

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

It's alright, all part of learning~
