OpenStudy (biokiiller396):

I'll give a medal... Ideal Gas Law- If I contain 3 moles of gas in a container with a volume of 60 liters and at a temperature of 400 K, what is the pressure inside the container? (Answer: 1.64 atm)

OpenStudy (aaronq):

use PV=nRT

OpenStudy (biokiiller396):

I tried that but I still can't get the answer for some reason...

OpenStudy (aaronq):

P*(60 L)=(3moles)*(0.08206 atm*L/mol*K)(400 K) \(P=\dfrac{(3moles)*(0.08206~ atm*L/mol*K)(400~ K)}{(60 ~L)}\)=1.6412 atm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aaronq can you fan me please?

OpenStudy (biokiiller396):

Thank you so much

OpenStudy (aaronq):

no problem, do you see where you went wrong?

OpenStudy (biokiiller396):

Yeah it was a silly mistake :P

OpenStudy (aaronq):

haha good stuff

OpenStudy (biokiiller396):

Yeah haha it caused so much frustration ;-;
