I do believe that it is B. Trench Warfare in the first world war was very up close and personal, and they only had the original planes, that didn't really fly well. By world war 2, they were producing planes in large amounts, with different types. For example, there were fighter planes, recon planes, and bombers. No longer did you have to be right in your enemy's face to kill them, you could be hundreds of feet above them.
