@ZeHanz
OpenStudy (agent0smith):
First factor everything.
And when dividing by a fraction, flip the fraction and multiply by the reciprocal.
OpenStudy (zehanz):
So use the rule: \(\dfrac{\frac{a}{b}}{\frac{c}{d}}=\dfrac{a}{b}\cdot\dfrac{d}{c}\), after factoring, as @agent0smith said!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[\frac{ a ^{2} + 5a + 4 }{ a ^{3}} \times \frac{ a ^{2} - 2a}{ a ^{2} + 3a + 2 }\]
OpenStudy (agent0smith):
Yes, now factor everything. And good job using the equation editor!

Haha, thank you! And do you mind helping me factor it all?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Wait, I think I got it.
OpenStudy (zehanz):
\(a^2+5a+4\) = (a+..)(a+..). The sum of the numbers on the dots is 5, their product is 4.
Guess what they are?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[\frac{ (a + 4) (a - 2) }{ a ^{2} (a + 2)}\]
OpenStudy (zehanz):
Whoa! All in one go! You have found the right answer!
