The molar heat of fusion for water is 6.01 kJ/mol. How much energy must be added to a 75.0-g block of ice at 0°C to change it to 75.0 g of liquid water at 0°C? A) 1.44 kJ B) 10.18 kJ C) 12.48 kJ D) 25.04 kJ

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

first divide 75 by 18 that gives you how many moles of water you have mutliply the number of moles you have times 6.01kj/mol which will end up being roughly 25.04kJ
