A. x=4 and x=0 B. x=0 C. x=4 and x=1- ELIMINATE THIS ONE BECAUSE IT IS WRONG D. x=4

\[\sqrt{5x+5}-\sqrt{x}=3\] \[\sqrt{5x+5}^2-\sqrt{x}^2=3^2\] 5x+5-x=9 4x=4 x=1 wait what?? maybe i went wrong somewhere..idk but this is what i got

@dg98, (a-b)^2 is NOT a^2 - b^2. It's a^2 - 2ab + b^2. It can't be 0 since sqrt5 - sqrt5 = 0 which is not 3. It's not A nor B, and you eliminated C, so it must be D. In fact, it is. Plug it in and check.

i'm confused what you're saying

ohh wait nm i get it

I thought it was D as well, I just wanted to be sure =) Thank you guys!!
