what are the limiting factors of a racon
Its predators.. I told you that in the last question.
Biotic - Living parts of an ecosystem Abiotic – Nonliving parts of an ecosystem of a raccon @Whitemonsterbunny17
Yeah.. that's true. So, the raccoon's predators would be biotic.
Okay so I'm guessing this is either for 6.03 or 6.07 I had to do this one last year So for 6.03 mine was the Golden Rod plant
Limiting factors are anything that decrease the population of a species If the limiting factor is biotic or abiotic means its living or its..not Okay so two examples from mine: Golden Rod Caterpillars - Biotic Caterpillars can affect plants because it can feed off a plant and create a lot of damage. Too Much Fertilizer - Abiotic Over fertilizing a plant can kill the plant because if the plant cannot handle that amount of fertilizer it can greatly damage the plant. Get it?
Lol I know mine are really stupid But this is science not language Are you good at math?
not really cause you know how its labeled limited factors, biotic or aboitic and then Description of how this limits the population growth of the species you selected can you tell me how i would do this for a raccon @LeilaniLane and @Whitemonsterbunny17
@LeilaniLane
@LeilaniLane
Well...I don't know The last time I had to do research about raccoons was a looooong time ago for..4th grade I believe I think you need 5 example but for the first two I would do humans as a biotic limiting factor and... traps as an abiotic limiting factor
Its still science The main point of the lesson is testing if you are able to classify biotic or abiotic items
well i want to know what they mean limiting factors and abiotic or biotic
Sheesh I told you! Limiting factors are things that decrease the population of a species. Biotic = living Abiotic = not living
