Graph y>2x+3
Okay, well i don't know how well you will follow with my drawing, but, first you need to graph the line y=2x+3, recall that the general formula for a line is Y=mx+b where b is the y intercept that the line will pass through, and m is the slope (rise over run) knowing this, you go to the point (0,3) on your graph and mark it, from there you go UP 2, to the RIGHT 1, and you mark that point, then you go the opposite direction from point (0,3), you go 2 DOWN, and 1 LEFT, now you have the graph of Y=2x+3 when you connect those points if you already knew how to graph then you're asking what the inequality ">" implies well that just tells you that you want increasing values of Y as the other side gets larger, so you shade above the graph, as my picture represents ~hope this helps
Thank you for the help!!
mind if I ask another?
go ahead and close this one, and post your next question as a new one, just to keep things cleaner :)
