What volume of a 0.25 mol/L salt solution in a lab contains 0.10 mol of sodium chloride?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

molarity= moles x vol 0.25= .1 x vol volume= 2.5L

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But how, isn't it 0.4L as 1L/0.25mol * 0.1mol = 0.4L with 2.5L, the moles cancel out and you're left with 1/L
