can somebody help me simplify this? i ussualy know but im forgetting. follow up comeing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[r=200(.75)to the x plus 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First, (200(.75))^(x-4) or 200(.75)^(x-4)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*(x+4) both times sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If (200(.75))^(x+4) it would simplify to 150^(x+4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it's 200(.75)^(x+4) then I am not completely sure. Do you have to graph this? If so, make an x and y chart. Set x+4 to zero so you get x=-4, and use one to the left and right so you get this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then plug in those numbers for x and solve for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

200(.75)^(-5+4) 200(.75)^(-1) 200(1/.75) That's around 266

OpenStudy (anonymous):

With -4... 200(.75)^(-4+4) 200(.75)^(0) 200(1) That's 200.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

With -3... 200(.75)^(-3+4) 200(.75)^(1) 200(.75) And that'd be 150, so your new x&y chart displays this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then you graph those points and you're done.

I'm not sure if anybody could follow all that. Nobody's said anything so I'm assuming y'all are good; however, if this isn't at all what you needed, you have my sincere apologies for having wasted your time. Have a great night.
