Kayla notices that she can buy snacks and candy in bulk at the grocery store. The snacks she wants to buy cost $1.29 per kilogram. Write a formula that that will help Kayla determine how much she'll have to pay if she buys food in bulk. Let's let t = total price k = number of kilograms of food
t (in $) = ($1.29/kilograms) ('k' kilograms) t = $1.29k (kilograms/kilograms) . The kilograms 'cancel out" so you are left with t = $1.29k
Do you understand?
no i do not??? can you help?
Uhm, I kind of explained it in there.
3 people have triedd explaing it and stilldont get it ;-;
Her total cost would be however many kilograms she bought, multiplied by the price. Example, if she bought 3 kilograms, it would be t=1.29(3). Her total cost would be $3.87.
Is that better?
use.... T= P*K
T (in $)=(1.29/kilograms T=1.29k
Ur just say bulk no numbers nothing to multiply by
....it said it is wrong and i am cluseless on how to sove these
t= 1.29$ * k.....
