OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's number exercise one

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Ok, so you would add dogs and cats to find the number of ALL pets, 132+18, which equals to 150. The "probability of a student preferring a dog" means "what are the chances in terms of fraction that student will prefer a dog. so, 132/150 (can you simplify this fraction, if no, let me know and I'll help you more... Also, for a future reference: you can find any section by: 1) clicking "more subjects" ( top left corner, towards the center) 2) typing in the name of the section (name of a section can be "history" Mathematics and other section for each unique area of studying. you can fan someone by: 1) clicking on the user's name 2) clicking "fan" on the bottom right corner of user's box. ( you can also write a testimonial by clicking "add testimonial" ) you can mention someone in your question (or in any other question) by writing @ in front of their name, just like I would mention you... LOOK ! .... @peterpiper4 (they would get a notification that they got mentioned just like you did) you can message someone by: 1) clicking on the someone's username 2) clicking "Send Message" 3) type your message press submit, and wait till the messages submits. thanks a lot :)

Not a problem... if you are uncomfortable with something don't hesitate to say it.

I still don't know how to simply the 132/150. and I don't know the B. and C. of the problems

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

well, \[132=6 \times 22\]\[150=6 \times 25\]So you would divide top and bottom of 132/150 by 6, and you will get 22/25.

how about B and C
