YALL GONE LEARN TODAY CMON YALL SOMEONE COME HELP ME Parallelogram ABCD is reflected over the y-axis, followed by a reflection over the x-axis, and then rotated 180 degrees about the origin. What is the location of point A after the transformations are complete?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-5, -1) (5, 1) (-5, 1) (5, -1)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

just answered this @HelloGoodmorning could u help ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes Ganeshie but would it be the same because we have different shapes

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

it shouldnt matter since the transformations are exact same

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

thats a very good queston btw :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh sorry lol but can you help me with another then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok great than sos101starting location : (-5, 1) after reflection over x axis : (-5, -1) after reflection over y axis : (5, -1) after rotation of 180 degrees : (-5, 1) so first option

@ganeshie8 can you help me with this one "What set of reflections would carry parallelogram ABCD onto itself?" x-axis, y=x, y-axis, x-axis x-axis, y-axis, x-axis y-axis, x-axis, y-axis, x-axis y=x, axis, x-axis

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

hint : reflecting two times across a same axis is same as doing nothing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

yes ! y-axis, x-axis, y-axis, x-axis is \(\large \color{red}{\checkmark}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank You!!!!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

np :)
