OpenStudy (unbelievabledreams):

When 7.0 mol Al react with 8.5 mol HCl, what is the limiting reactant and how many moles of AlCl3 can be formed? 2 Al + 6 HCl “yields”/ 2 AlCl3 + 3 H2

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

what do you think the limiting reactant is?

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

its HCl just so you know the reason is if AL has a ratio of 1:3 to HCL so for ever 1 mole of Al there needs to be 3 moles of HCl so to fully react 7moles of Al you need 21 moles of HCl

OpenStudy (unbelievabledreams):

I understand. Thank you.
