A diameter of a circle has endpoints P (-7, -2) and Q (-3, 5). What is the approximate length of the radius?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Use the distance formula to find the distance between two points \((x_1,y_1),(x_2,y_2)\): \[d =\sqrt{(x_1-x_2)^2+(y_1-y_2)^2}\] That will give you the diameter. The radius is 1/2 of the diameter.
