Does the sequence converge, or diverge. Award Given To Best Answer! Sum of 1/(n(lnn)) from n=2 to infinity.
@halorazer any ideas? I'm working on practice exams..Been stuck on these last 2. The other one you answered. :)
lnn is the natural log of n, correct?
Yeah :)
And is it ln(n) or is it ln^n?
The first one. :)
Well, when the natural log of one is in the denominator, the denominator is equal to zero, which is a big no no in math. :p so that would explain why it starts at two.
Hmmm...Okay so the answer is two? Im brain fried...
I would look at this for help. https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090317104739AAAeHwx
They say it diverges, and in all of my calculations that I put in, this in true. It increases to no specific number.
\[\sum_{1}^{\infty} (-1^n-1/\sqrt{n}\]
So its the same with that? (-1)^n-1/sqrt(n) not that hoopla of a mess above :P
From n=1 to infinity
