Calculate the energy (in Mev's) released in the reaction: 2|1H + 3|1H 4|2He + 1|0n + E. I don't have a clue how to do this.

It does not seem written in a format I understand, but the idea is that there is fusion of hydrogen species to form Hhelium plus a neutorn plus energy. The energy can be obtained by using E = m c^2 once you determine the masses of each of the reactants and products and find the mass loss that becomes E=m c^2.

Okay thanks
