I do not understand how to get any of these, if you could just put the equations for how to get them that would be amazing! thanks for your help!!! :) The density of solid Fe is 7.87 g/cm3. How many atoms are present per cubic centimeter of Fe? As a solid, Fe adopts a body-centered cubic unit cell. How many unit cells are present per cubic centimeter of Fe? What is the volume of a unit cell of this metal? What is the edge length of a unit cell of Fe?

The first part of this question is solved by using Avogadros number by converting the amount of Fe you have into its molar mass.. think of it as u have certain amount of Iron in ur hand.. u know its weight then all u have to do is use the periodic table and calculate the molar mass.. its a hard concept but once you understand it youll see its a conversion question. |dw:1399274071197:dw|
