Find the derivative of f(x) = -7/x at x = -3. so for this i would plug -3 in for x which is -7/-3 which will be 7/3
thats a good start !
so ur \(f(a) = f(-3) = \dfrac{7}{3}\)
plug that into the derivative formula
but .-. on the last question it was 5/-1 which = -5... which was the answer so this one would be +7/3.... which is one of my answers .-.
very clever :) but no 7/3 is not the answer, lets work it and see ..
-.- nnoooo this is suuuccchhh a long process is there no other way? :c
yup ! but u wil learn it in ur next module
for now, u need to work few derivatives from first principles
u can always get answer for confirmation from wolfram : http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=d%2Fdx%28-7%2Fx%29+at+x+%3D+-3
.-. module 9 (the one i'm in now) is the last module for my class that i'm taking, as in once i've finished it then i've completed precalc..... in fact i'm almost done. all i have left is my module 9 pretest, the actual test, second semester pretest and test to go and then i've completed this course..... so is there an easier way to do this?
then i think u gona learn it in calcI :) cant wait hah ?
in ur last post u got shocked by seeing d/dx notation, so i presume ur syllabus doesnt cover these other methods (easy ways) yet
