what is the difference between hydrogen peroxide and water in terms of equations? pls fast
hydrogen peroxide: H2O2 Water: H2O
the whole equation?
I am unable to understand what you meant by "in terms of equations" ?
you asking about the oxidization states of the atoms?
Hydrogen peroxide has 2 atoms of hydrogen and 2 atoms of Oxygen. And Water has 2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 atom of Oxygen.
so its like H2+O=H20 and H2+O2=H202......RITE?
Not exactly! We can not predict chemical equations like this. They are based on the chemical properties as well as on the basis of observations from the experiments. \(\sf \bf{\color{blue}{2}} H_2 + O_2 \rightarrow \bf{\color{blue}{2}} H_2 O\)
For \(H_2 O_2\) there are many reactions of its preparation.
OKIE...GOT IT thanx.
