I am still not sure. When I work out the problem myself I get 175 and 7/8ths but when I put it into a problem solver with just 16 and 10 without the extra fractions it gives me 80. So I am assuming one of the last two answers are correct I am sorry I couldn't be of more help on this one. Do you want to show me your other question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the product: 4/7*1/3*7/8 =

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you give me answer choices please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea 1/24 1/6 2/3 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is B do you understand how I got that answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay you start out by lining up each fraction and the you just multiply the numerators and the denominators across. Then you see if you can simplify the fraction by dividing the numerator and denominator by the same number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4*1*7 over 7*3*8 gives you 28 over 168 now what is a common factor we can divivde both of these numbers by?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanxs sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much man you are AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
