graph the linear equation 4x+3y>24

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(4x +3y > 24\implies 3y > 24-4x \implies y > 8 - \frac{4}{3}x\) Now graph the line \(y=8-\frac{4}{3}x\) and make sure it is dashed because you are not including it in the region (it says greater than, not greater than or equal to). Shade everything over the dashed line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks what about x-2y<4 can you help me out with that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Try to repeat the process I did. It's the same idea, except you shade below the dashed line because of the "\(y<\)".

thanks
