I just need to know if I'm right and if I'm wrong please explain. I got answer A Given the functions f(n) = 11 and g(n) = −2(n − 1), combine them to create an arithmetic sequence, a_n, and solve for the 31st term. a_n = 11 − 2(n − 1); a31 = −49 a_n = 11 − 2(n − 1); a31 = −51 a_n = 11 + 2(n − 1); a31 = 71 a_n = 11 + 2(n − 1); a31 = 73

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a31 = 11 -2(31-1) which disagrees with a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so I solve that for answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got -71 but thats not an option @douglaswinslowcooper

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11 - 60 = -49 which agrees with a. Sorry.

You were mostly right. I was wrong.
