In the Madisonian Model for government, James Madison stated his belief that: A. The Constitution would be harmful to the lower class. B. Madison is known as "The Father of the Constitution" because of the many notes he took at the convention. Much of his political ideology can be found in the Federalist Papers that he wrote with John Jay and Alexander Hamilton. Madison was a federalist in that he favored ratification of the Constitution an a strong national government, but not at the expense of the rights of the citizens in the states. He drafted the Bill of Rights which protects the people's rights from governmental interference. He also led the opposition to the Federalist's Alien and Sedition Acts. He opposed the Federalist Party and was a supporter of American nationalism...
