I can't remember how to do this...
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
Is there a logical order to this?
OpenStudy (vshiroky):
I would think least to greatest
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
Ok, list them in that order.

so 96,214,368, then 572?
OpenStudy (vshiroky):
or do I do it by category name?
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
Do it by category name.
OpenStudy (vshiroky):
Ok. Do I add them up as my N?
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
A=never, B= rarely,C= occasionally, and D=all the time A+B+C+D=N

OpenStudy (vshiroky):
So does N equal frequencies or internet usage?
OpenStudy (vshiroky):
Or is that answer just the 1247?
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
N is the denominator in each of the fractions you use to calculate f.
OpenStudy (vshiroky):
Ok so do I do 96/1247?
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
yes

Ok so the first one is 7.7% right?
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
yes
OpenStudy (vshiroky):
Ok do I have to add them up and put it at the bottom?
OpenStudy (vshiroky):
I got 7.7%, 17%, 46%, 29.27%
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
yes

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
there are four levels of measurement: nominal, ordinal, interval and ratio. Different levels of measurement call for different statistical techniques.
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
I would say you used "ratio"
OpenStudy (vshiroky):
Why ratio?
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
Because that is what a percent is.
OpenStudy (vshiroky):
ah ok thank you

Thanks for asking :-)
OpenStudy (vshiroky):
What happens if I go over 100% like 101%
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

OpenStudy (vshiroky):
Can you double check me? I did it twice

use more decimal places on your numbers, say 2 places
OpenStudy (vshiroky):
would I still have to round the second to 27 though if its 26.5
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
no, use 26.53
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
only round the hunderedths place
