compare renewable and nonrenewable energy resources, and discuss the effects of each on biodiversity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats a long reply carniel

OpenStudy (carniel):

The difference in renewable and nonrenewable are that renewable can be used again while nonrenewable can't. Example of renewable is something like wood. Example of nonrenewable is something like Coal, Oil, Fossil fuels, something like that

OpenStudy (carniel):

Nah I was taking my time :\ Kinda busy with some other stuff.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wat about the biodiversity part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

carniel?

OpenStudy (carniel):

I'm here. I know a little about Biodiversity. Just thinking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (carniel):

I know that Biodiversity consists of the organisms in different places. Also, the way they interact with each other makes a difference as well. I don't think I can explain that with renewable and nonrenewable resources unless we talking about how they come into play. Some plants and animals depend on wood to live since it shelters them and holds food ~Renewable

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeaaa...

OpenStudy (carniel):

As for nonrenewable, plants need soil and the minerals inside to stay alive and grow.

OpenStudy (carniel):

Another way of thinking of it is renewable are living and nonrenewable aren't.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx

OpenStudy (carniel):
