Quick question! When graphing x & y intercepts, would I put them on the opposite line? Ehh, example: x-intercept of 5 and a y-intercept of -6. Do I graph the 5 like (0,5) or (5,0)? Same for the -6?

@hartnn

hartnn (hartnn):

x intercept means the graph cuts x axis at that point so, 5 is actually x co-ordinate so plot 5,0

hartnn (hartnn):

y intercept means the graph cuts y axis at that point so, -6 is actually y co-ordinate so plot 0,-6

Ok, that's what I was doing, but something made me unsure lol Thanks!
