The secant of angle A of this triangle would be c/b , correct? http://gyazo.com/98c304f747713b0a39b1a935ee3037d7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because sec is Hypotenuse / Adjacent right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And the Cot would be b/a, correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And the Sine of Angle A here would be 3/5, right ? http://gyazo.com/908ed4633816e2afe0d3daf1f2bf2cae

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1) Correct, sec is h/a 2) Correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do the Opposite, ajacent sides always stay the same? Or can they switch when refering to different angles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3) Sin(A) = O/H = 12/15 = 4/5, not 3/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Opposite and adjacent sides are always relative to the angle. sin(A) is not equal to sin(B)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or so the opposite/ajacent angles do switch when referring to different angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They are not the same for each angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*sin(A) = 12/15 sin(B) = 9/15 sin(C) = sin(90 degrees) = 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, so this would be 13/5, correct? http://gyazo.com/34be62729847098de9ca1d004d799cee

OpenStudy (anonymous):

13 is the hypotenuse. 13/5 for what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Secant for Angle A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because secant is Hyp/adj and 13 is the hyp and 5 is adjacent to Angle A, right?
